Pell City man still missing

The Pell City Police Department is still looking for a man who was reported missing more than two weeks ago.

Detective Bonnie Lomeli said Monday Forrest Ammel, 21, of Pell City has not been found and there are no new leads about his whereabouts.

Authorities said Ammel was last seen at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 21, at his residence at 305 Brookhill Circle.

Authorities describe Ammel as a white male, 5 feet-7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Lomeli said Ammel was last seen wearing black lounge pants, a white undershirt and black waffle shoes.

According to a press release from the police department, Ammel is a cook at the Waffle House in Pell City. He got off work at approximately 6 a.m., on the Saturday morning he was reported missing.
