If the students at Springville Middle School can raise $4,000, they will get to see their principals with pie on their faces — and it won’t be the leftovers from dessert in the school cafeteria. The Springville Middle School Student Council sponsors a shamrock sale every year to raise money for the Muscular Distrophy Association, and their goal this year is $4,000. If they reach their goal, both the elementary and middle school principals at Springville have agreed to getting a pie in the face. Last year, SMS raised more than $2,500 for MDA, surpassing other schools, organizations and businesses in the area. The money is used to send children who suffer from neuromuscular diseases to camp. It costs $800 to send one child to camp. Trying to reach $4,000
