St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell said Margie Taylor, 84, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:12 p.m. after the vehicle she was driving left the roadway on 19th Street near the intersection of 16th Street in Pell City.
“The vehicle left the roadway and flipped,” he said. “She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.”
Russell said the cause of death was head trauma.
