In 1962 community leaders came together to incorporate the area that was home to 200-300 people in an effort to improve the quality of life in their part of the county. Today there are approximately 14,000 residents.
Fred Moody, part of the early-settling Moody family, is taking part in the planning and aiding the celebration.
