An 18-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon in a single car accident.
St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell identified the victim as Jacob Cross of Pell City.
Russell said Cross was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:41 p.m. The cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Russell said the 1994 Honda Accord Cross was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
He said the single-car accident happened about one-tenth of a mile north of Sweet Apple Drive, along Wolf Creek Road South.
The Alabama State Trooper Birmingham Post said the accident was reported at about 1:28 p.m. Tuesday.
