The Branchville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Odenville, will play host to a concert from The Renaissance Choir from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn., on Thursday, March 11. An internationally celebrated choir, Renaissance consists of over 100 scholarship choir members, soloists and instrumentalists . The trip to Odenville is part of the choir’s spring tour throughout the southeast.

The choir will present “Arise My Love,” an Easter celebration, “a one of a kind Easter presentation focusing on the passion week of the Easter season. Using many musical styles and colors, this time of worship celebrates the majesty and sacrifice of the Savior through the musical arts.”

The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

“Renaissance is an extension of Bethel’s Development Office and builds on our already rich performance tradition to extend the reputation and the reach of the college,” a release from the college said. “From stages, platforms, and pulpits – large and small – Renaissance shows the world that Bethel University, and her students, are among the best in the nation.”
